This lecture meets online and your confirmation email will contain the Zoom class link.

Has your enthusiasm for gardening been discouraged by physical limitations? As we age, our gardens become harder to maintain. Let’s find a way to enjoy our gardens again with a new perspective and reality. We’ll talk about downsizing our garden properties for the future, plus tips and ideas for simpler gardens for our health and enjoyment.

MATERIALS
Please bring a notebook and pen to take notes.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING YOUR CLASS SAFE
The safety of our students, teachers, patrons, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. A number of adjustments have been put in place to keep everyone safe for in-person classes at the Cultural Center. We are disinfecting public spaces frequently and have installed hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. To ensure the safety of those around you, please wear a mask, practice social distancing, and in other ways follow CDC guidelines while at the Cultural Center. Thank you!

ONLINE WITH ZOOM
You will need to be sure the Zoom app is installed on your device. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing a secure link to join the class.

You will be able to login 15 minutes before the class start time. We recommend logging in before the class starts to make sure you are settled in and ready to go when the class is set to begin.

If you are new to Zoom, please note that we will not be able to help with the app. It is strongly recommended that you navigate Zoom on your own before the class starts to get to know the mute and video settings. Try it out by talking with a friend or family member who has the Zoom app. The Cultural Center uses Zoom to conduct online classes, and I understand that the Zoom meeting will be recorded. By participating in the class, I consent to be recorded and place no restrictions on distribution of the recording.

PRICILLA HUSBAND
My 35 years of landscape gardening on Cape Cod has revealed to me all the gardens that are possible. My local landscape gardening business has introduced me to all aspects of gardening. Installing and maintaining gardens throughout the years has been my teacher. Finding a balance between our desired gardens and successful gardens is the result. Every day I learn and share with my clients and friends. As a Master Gardener graduate from the Cape Cod Extension program I have access to regional information that applies to the Cape. My love of gardening and my enthusiasm motivates me to help others achieve their goals in the natural space we all love here on Cape Cod.

I was born on the Cape and balance my time between here in the growing season and a small island in Panama during the winter months. My family has lived on the Cape for over 60 years. My daughter grew up in Dennis and my parents are buried across the street in the South Dennis "Sea Captains" Cemetery.
